Since 2005, Alma Iura has been providing banking and financial consulting services and, since 2014, has been organising the National Congress on Jurimetrics, Banking and Finance with the aim of addressing the most important issues in the sector from a highly technical and scientific perspective. For years, Alma Iura’s Department of Financial Mathematics for Law has been putting its expertise, skills, independence and experience in the field of NPLs and UTPs at the service of major Italian credit institutions and servicers, and is constantly seeking collaboration with leading experts in the field. <\/p>\n
The seventh edition of the event took place on 13th October, 2020 at Palazzo della Gran Guardia, a historic building in the centre of Verona. The city of Verona has always been a very lively financial centre, as it has long been the venue of some of the most important players in the banking and insurance market.
The event was followed by a gala dinner in the evening.<\/b><\/p>\n
The banking and finance world has changed from being difficult to being complicated. The word \u201ccomplicated\u201d comes from the Latin phrase \u201ccum plicum<\/i>\u201d, which means \u201cfolds, creases\u201d. Therefore, the word \u201ccomplicated<\/i>\u201d refers to something which is difficult to unravel, something which cannot be explained by a simple analytical approach, something that instead requires a systemic approach. We believe that the only way to govern complexity<\/b> is to share ideas.
